Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces pasta (fusilli, bowtie, or penne)
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini or ciliegine)
  • ½ cup fresh basil, roughly chopped
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and return to the pot.
  2. While the pasta is still warm, drizzle with half of the olive oil to prevent sticking.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta with halved cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and chopped basil.
  4. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the remaining olive oil, balsamic glaze, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and gently toss until well combined.
  6. Let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
