Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 1 lb penne or rotini pasta
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. In the same pot, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add seasoned steak pieces and sear for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
  3. Add minced garlic and stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in honey and soy sauce, then add broccoli and bell pepper. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until vegetables soften slightly.
  5. Toss in cooked pasta along with reserved pasta water to create a cohesive dish. Stir gently to combine.
  6. Plate and enjoy while warm!
