  • 1 large bell pepper sliced into strips
  • 1 large onion sliced into strips
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Method

  1. In a medium bowl, toss the sliced steak with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, fajita seasoning, salt, and pepper until well-coated.
  2. Heat a large skillet or cast-iron pan over medium-high heat. Add the steak in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add the sliced bell peppers and onions and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are tender and slightly charred.
  4. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  5. Return the cooked steak to the skillet with the vegetables and toss to combine. Let it heat through for 1 minute.
  6. Divide the steak and veggie mixture among bowls. Serve with your favorite toppings like guacamole, sour cream, shredded cheese, fresh cilantro, and lime wedges.
