Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ lbs baby Yukon Gold potatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend preferred)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 2 tsp pickled relish
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Pinch of paprika
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1 large tomato (diced)
  • ½ small red onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Dill pickle slices (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Boil potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 12–15 minutes.
  2. Drain and cool slightly, then smash each potato into disks on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Roast for 18–22 minutes until golden brown.
  4. While potatoes roast, mix ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper; form into patties.
  5. Heat skillet over medium-high heat and cook patties for about 3 minutes per side until browned.
  6. Prepare special sauce by mixing mayo, ketchup, relish, vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  7. Assemble bowls by layering smashed potatoes, lettuce, tomatoes, burger patties, cheese, and drizzling with special sauce.
